Settle in – we’ve got a lot to get through. Absolutely everyone seems to be producing beauty crackers these days, and as with the baubles I wrote about the other day they’re a lovely thing to have on standby, either as an emergency gift or a little Christmas dinner table extra.
Let’s start luxe, then, and this Jo Malone cracker, £33, with it’s harlequin packaging and Basil & Neroli Cologne, Blackberry & Bay Body & Hand Wash, and Mimosa & Cardamom Body Crème is an utter treat. Let’s all hope Santa’s popping it under our trees this year.
Caudalie is a fantastic skincare brand and they’ve got a lovely selection of mini shower gel, mini body lotion and a lip conditioner in their Body Essentials Cracker, £10. This would suit pretty much everyone so is perfect to tuck away as a last minute gift. There’s a Vinosource skincare cracker too, for £9.50, containing three face products. For any fans of Oskia’s Renaissance Cleansing Gel, they’ve got a cracker with a 40ml tube for £18.
Teens might like the Fleur de Force Christmas Cracker, £12, which contains an eyeshadow quad, compact mirror and lip gloss. I also thought that the Feelunique Beauty Tools cracker, £12, would go down with younger beauty fans – it contains a set of eye brushes, a nail file and blender sponge.
A handcream cracker is probably the ultimate emergency gift. Decléor have a 50ml hand cream cracker for £12, Crabtree & Evelyn have a Hand Therapy cracker for £6, Yardley offer a 50ml hand cream in either Lily of the Valley or English Rose for £4 and Cowshed have a cracker containing a 50ml hand cream and a lip balm for £10.
Finally if you’re after boxes of beauty crackers, you find these at Soap and Glory (£16 for six), Rituals will have sets available (I think these will be £19.50 for six), and L’Occitane have a set of three for £20. Add to your Christmas table and enjoy.
