Christmas Gift Guide Day Four
I promise that over the course of December we will find present inspiration at all prices, but, for one day only, let’s imagine we’ve got to shop for that pesky multi-millionaire who has everything. Better still, let’s imagine we are that pesky multi-millionaire and we’ve got a whole lot of important luxe shopping (get our PA) to do.
You want to buy them some moisturiser? And you’d like that moisturiser to be in a pot with a blinged up lid? Of course you would. Step right this way, madam. Crème de la Mer have the very thing, 100ml, £410. There’s also a fully bejewelled version at £1000, although it appears you’ve all beaten me to it as it’s showing as out of stock at the time of writing.
Madam might also consider the Estée Lauder Over The Top Blockbuster kit, £235. It’s got twelve full size products in – two Pure Color Envy eye palettes, two blushes, two Pure Color Envy Lipsticks, two Pure Color Envy lip glosses, a liner, a mascara, a brow gel and a lash primer. The Pure Color Envy range is top notch – there’s no padding here, just lots of lovely product to play with.
And if we’re buying make-up we really should get our lucky gift recipient some brushes to apply it. The Tom Ford Soleil brush kit appears to have sold out in the UK, but is still available in the US for $850, or you could recreate it by buying a Brush Case (£470) and selection of brushes (from £36).
For a post-Christmas treat, this Nannette de Gaspé mask coffret (£300) would be just the ticket. The sheet masks are waterless, and will give you three uses. They’re a very unusual technology – a dry mask – and Sali absolutely adored them when she tested them.
If you’re after a luxe fragrance gift, there’s a lot to choose from, but I thought this Acqua di Parma Luxury Colonias set (£1000) in a lockable calfskin jewellery case would be a gorgeous thing to receive (and you could store the Cartier in it afterwards).
Finally, a set of twelve Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks (a choice of three sets, Hot Lips, Matte Revolution and K.I.S.S.I.N.G, from £220) would be very thing to pop in a luxe stocking, presumably along with a diamond covered satsuma. Happy shopping!
