Pretty Powerful

Get fit lashes and help other women get back to work? It’s a yes from us.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Today is a global celebration of women across the world, and one of recognition for how much work is left to be done in advancing the female cause. Its role is also to inspire women to support one another, which is exactly what Bobbi Brown is doing via her Pretty Powerful campaign.

Pretty Powerful helps support non-profit organisations around the world. This year, for International Woman’s Day, Bobbi has partnered with Smart Works, a charity that provides women with interview training, the right clothes and styling advice in order to get them back to work, increase their confidence and help them to achieve financial independence. “nothing makes a woman or girl feel more confident than being educated and having the knowledge and skills to better her life,” says Bobbi.

One of the ways Bobbi is helping, is through the sale of the Pretty Powerful Everything Mascara, £19, in a lovely limited edition pink tube. It’s a Swiss Army knife of a mascara – it’s lengthening, thickening, defining and conditioning formula that doesn’t clump. Every penny from each sale of Pretty Powerful Everything Mascara (save for VAT) is donated to Smart Works.

There are other ways to get involved without heading to the Bobbi Brown counter or website. You can share information about the campaign on your social platforms using @BobbiBrown and @SmartworksHQ and #PrettyPowerful, or simply retweet this post!

    Great initiative .

What a brilliant thing to do. I’d be interested in trying this mascara as I’ve yet to find one which does a thing for my vile, stumpy lashes.

Mine are vile and stumpy too. Sympatico strikes again.

I bought this the other day – love it, and love the concept behind it too.
