Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cleanser

skyn ICELAND Pure Cloud Cleanser

A perfect hot cloth cleanser for parched skin.

I’m always on the lookout for good cleansers, because I firmly believe that cleansing is the most important part of your daily routine (aside from sun protection) and that a lovely cleanser that doesn’t feel like hard graft is more likely to get used religiously. This, by Skyn Iceland at M&S, is my favourite in a while. If your skin is oily, this is not for you. But if you’re dry and dehydrated, it’s utter bliss. It’s creamy but not at all oily and has a gorgeous whipped cream texture that almost feels foamy on the skin (the large tube packaging makes it look like a face wash but it’s really a classic cream formula). As with all my favourite cleansers, it works brilliantly with a hot cloth. Just massage into dry skin and buff off with a hot terry flannel (I use the free muslin for kids’ mealtimes). It lasts for ages, removes absolutely everything – including heavy mascara – without residue and unusually, doesn’t leave my skin absolutely desperate for a massive gulp of serum.

Skyn Pure Cloud Cleanser, £18, out now.
